Abstract:
Provided is a piezoelectric oscillator that is capable of holding up the tip of a piezoelectric oscillation element while suppressing the occurrence of stress in the piezoelectric oscillation element. A crystal oscillator 1 comprises: a base member 30; electrode pads 33a, 33b which are provided to the base member 30; conductive holding members 36a, 36b which are conductive and which are formed on one surface of the electrode pads 33a, 33b; and a crystal oscillation element 10, one end part of which is held at the one surface by the conductive holding members 36a, 36b, wherein the one surface is an inclined surface that is inclined at a certain angle.
