Abstract:
A piezoelectric sound generation component 1 is provided with a piezoelectric vibrating plate 2 and a case 5 housing the piezoelectric vibrating plate 2. A periphery portion 15 of the vibrating plate 10 includes a first periphery portion 13 fixed to the case 5, and a second periphery portion 12 which is movable relative to the case 5. The case 5 has a step portion 34 provided in a position corresponding to the second periphery portion 12 in a thickness direction of the vibrating plate 10. A gap P is formed between the step portion 34 and the second periphery portion 12.
