Abstract:

Disclosed is a completely nonmetallic pipe connection mechanism for a sealing device. Said pipe connection mechanism threads a metal reinforcement pipe (60) into a through-hole (53) in a flange (50) and inserts a resin connection pipe (70) into a through-hole (67) and widened section (68) of the metal reinforcement pipe (60). Also, a metal cap (80) is fitted onto the head (63) of the metal reinforcement pipe (60), and a wide section (74) of the resin connection pipe (70) is sandwiched between the metal reinforcement pipe (60) and the metal cap (80). Additionally, a tapered male screw (96) on a resin connector (90) is threaded into a tapered female screw (76) in the wide section (74) of the resin connection pipe (70), coupling a tube (98) to the resin connection pipe (70). The tip of the resin connection pipe (70) is provided with an O-ring (72), which goes inside a widened section (16) of a stationary ring (10), thereby forming a seal between the outer surface of the resin connection pipe (70) and the inner surface of the widened section (16) of the stationary ring (10).
