Abstract:
A pitch fault prediction method for a wind turbine. The pitch fault prediction method comprises: during a pitch operation of a wind turbine, acquiring at each sampling moment the pitch speed of each blade of the wind turbine and the active power of the wind turbine; determining a power interval where the active power of the wind turbine at each sampling moment is located, and, on the basis of a mapping relation between pitch speed difference ranges of each two blades and the power intervals, determining whether a pitch speed difference of each two blades at each sampling moment exceeds a corresponding pitch speed difference range; and when the number of the pitch speed differences of each two blades exceeding the corresponding pitch speed difference ranges is greater than a first preset number, outputting first pitch fault early warning information indicating that a pitch fault will occur. A pitch fault prediction apparatus for a wind turbine, comprising an acquisition unit (501), a determination unit (502) and an output unit (503). Pitch faults are predicted in advance, such that users can take maintenance measures in time to avoid great loss.
