Abstract:
The present invention relates to a planetary gear set mechanism for precisely grinding two end faces of a cylindrical roller. The mechanism comprises an upper grinding wheel and a lower grinding wheel. The mechanism further comprises a ring gear, a sun gear and a plurality of planet gears. The ring gear is centered on the sun gear such that the two gears are concentric. The planet gears are installed between the ring gear and the sun gear, and respectively mesh with the ring gear and the sun gear. The ring gear or the sun gear rotates to drive all of the planet gears to synchronously rotate along the ring gear. Each of the planet gears is provided with a plurality of roller movement holes. A roller is provided in the roller movement hole, and two end faces thereof extend out of the planet gear and are respectively in contact with the upper and lower grinding wheels. When the roller moves with the planet gear, the upper and lower grinding wheels respectively grind the two end faces of the roller. The present invention has a reasonable design and a simple structure. Since a planetary gear structure is used to drive a roller to move so as to simultaneously grind the upper and lower end faces of the roller, the grinding precision is high.
