Abstract:
One embodiment of the present invention comprises a data classification unit which classifies multi-dimensional operation data into categories, an evaluation index calculation unit which calculates evaluation indices for the categories on the basis of the values in the operation data, a classification result evaluation unit which calculates the variation among the evaluation indices for each category and determines whether or not the variation among the evaluation indices is at or below a reference value, and a parameter modification unit which, if it is determined that the variation among the evaluation indices exceeds the reference value, modifies parameter values defining the size of the categories in the data classification unit so as to make the sizes of the categories smaller.
