Abstract:
A plant pot capable of automatically feeding a specified amount of water to plants for a long period by a simple structure and also enjoying both the plants and fishes by culturing the fishes by the use of its water storage part. An upwardly opened plant culturing part (2) surrounded by an inner wall (2a) positioned at a distance from an outer wall (1a) is disposed in the water storage part (1) surrounded by the outer wall (1a). The top board (3) of the water storage part (1) is connected to the inner wall (2a) of the plant culturing part (2) to closely fit the water storage part (1). The bottom plate (2b) of the plant culturing part (2) is positioned at a distance from the bottom cover (4) of the water storage part (1), a water absorbing string insertion hole (2c) is formed at the lower part of the plant culturing part (2), and a water absorbing string (5) absorbing water from the water storage part (1) by the action of a capillary is fittedly inserted into the water absorbing string insertion hole (2c). The water absorbing string (5) is brought into contact with a water absorbing mat (6) placed on the bottom plate (2b) of the plant culturing part (2).
