Abstract:
Provided is a PDP device, which can have electrodes and circuits constituted to mount various circuits on a circuit mounting face altogether as many as possible on one side region without any problem of the degradation in noises and which can realize the cost and thickness reductions accordingly. In the PDP device, a black band (or a black band electrode) (15x) is arranged between the first electrodes, that is, display lines (L) constituted of a pair of a first electrode (X) and a second electrode (Y) adjoining to each other. One end (lefthand) portion of the second electrode is extracted from one (lefthand) side of the panel and connected with the drive circuit side of the second electrode. One end (lefthand) portion of the black band (15x) is extracted from the same side as that of the second electrode and connected with the drive circuit side of the first electrode. The other end (righthand) portion of the black band (15x) is connected in the side portion on the other (righthand) side of that panel with the other (righthand) end portion of the first electrode.
