Abstract:
A mirror magnetic field forming means (21) is provided in each discharge unit space (C) (discharge cell) of a plasma display panel (1). The mirror magnetic field forming means (21) is configured by providing a magnetic member (22) on each of two barrier ribs (19) which face each other through the discharge unit space (C). The mirror magnetic field is formed in the discharge unit space (C) by the two magnetic members (22), and effects of the mirror magnetic field prevent electrons from colliding with the barrier ribs and being destroyed.
