Title:
A PLASTIC WATER TANK FOR DRAWING FLOWING WATER
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2003/083222
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The plastic tank has the shape of parallelogram, which has an angle of 45° on both sides (F and G). The flooded water is withdrawn from the riversides or from the roads into the main plastic tank (E) using the water pump (A.B). After the main tank is filled, its top edge (X) leans on the lower edge of the other tank beside it and stick rigidly with it which will make a strong fence or wall of hundreds of tank (filled with the flooded water) preventing the water from going over the riversides and into the roads. There is a connection between the main tank (which is connected to the water pump) and the other tanks lying head to tail (using the connecting hose H), so that they are filled with water one after one by using only one water pump.

CLAIMS

1. It is a parallelogram shaped plastic tank, which is made out of a reinforced and flexible plastic. The raised water is withdrawn into the tank from the riversides or from the roads by using a water pump. When the tank is full it takes the shape of parallelogram, which because of its shape it will lean from its top edge on the next tank's lower edge (it has the shape) and this one will lean on the next one etc... which will make the tanks stick together firmly and make a rigid dam made of hundreds of full tanks lied head to tail, in which the water will not be able to go through or between. All the tanks are connected to pass the withdrawn water from one to the other by using one pump only.
2. A parallelogram shaped plastic tank as claimed in claim 1, wherein a water pump is connected to it from one side.
3. A parallelogram shaped plastic tank as claimed in claim 1 and claim 2, wherein when the water is withdrawn from the river, the tank takes the parallelogram shape.

4. A parallelogram shaped plastic tank as claimed in claim 1. wherein the main tank is
.
4. A parallelogram shaped plastic tank as claimed in claim 1, wherein the main tank connected to other tank the shape all lying on the side of the river head to tail.
5. A parallelogram shaped plastic tank as claimed in claim 1 and claim 4, wherein by filling the main tank and because of its special shape, the tank will lean from its top edge on the next tank's lower edge and it will also start to fill it up with water due to the connection between them.
6. , A parallelogram shaped plastic tank as claimed in claim 1 and claim 5, wherein after filling all the tanlcs by using only one water pump, it will end up making a rigid fence made of tanks lying head to tail filled with the flooded water on the riverside, which will keep the water away from the roads and houses.
7. A parallelogram shaped plastic tank substantially as described herein with reference to figures 15 of the accompanying drawings.
Description:
A PLASTIC WATER TANK FOR DRAWING FLOWING WATER The invention relates to a plastic water tank for drawing Sowing water Raining for several days causes an increase in the water level in rivers, and so the water floods into the surroundings.

So I came up with an idea which, will prevent the water to go over the edges of the river and into the surroundings, this idea will keep the water in the river away from the buildings until it reach a field or a place with no buildings. This is done by placing hundreds of plastic tanks (special shape) on both riversides and start filling them with the flooded water from the river, and by doing so the water in the tanks will reinforce the tanks position due to there shape.

This will build us a dam along the riversides, which will protect us from the raised water.

It is a parallelogram shaped plastic tank, which is made out of a reinforced and flexible plastic.

The raised water is withdrawn into the tank from the riversides or from the roads by using a water pump. When the tank is full it takes the shape of parallelogram, which because of its shape it w will lean from its top edge on the next tank's lower edge (it has the shape) and this one will lean on the next one etc... which will make the tanks stick together firmly and make a rigid dam made of hundreds of full tanks lied head to tail, in which the water will not be able to go through or between. All the tanks are connected to pass the withdrawn water from one to the other by using one pump only.

A specific embodiment of the invention will now be described by way of example with reference to the accompanying drawing in which:- Figure 1 1 shows the parallelogram shaped tank, with the water pump connected to it.

Figure 2 shows so-ine of the tanks connected together and placed in front of a house or a shop.

Figure 3 and figure 4 shows a tank made in a different shape so that it can join two lines of tanks in each in different direction.

Figure 5 shows some tanks are connected in a straight line and placed on the riverside.

Referring to the drawing the plastic tank has the shape of parallelogram, which has an angle of 45 on both sides (F and G), a height of 160, a width of 250 cm and it is 500 cm long. (figure 1) The flooded water is withdrawn from the riversides or from the roads into the main plastic tank (E) through the hole (D) using the water pump (A.B) through the tube (C). After the main tank is filled, its top edge (X) leans on the lower edge of the othe rtank beside it and stick rigidly with it which will make a strong fence or wall of hundreds of tank (filled with the flooded water) preventing the water from going over the riversides and into the roads.

There is a a connectioin between the main tank (which is connected to the water pump) and the other, tanks lying head to tail (using the connecting hose H), so that they are filled with water one aRer one by using only one water pump.

Putting the plastic tanks head to tail on the riverside and filling them one after one from the main tank has two advantages the first one is to withdraw the flooded water straight away from the river before it flows to the roads and houses. The second advantage is that when the tank are filled with water and due to the tanks shape, the tanks build a strong dam which will divert the water away from the roads and will prevent it from flowing into the streets (figure 5) The tanks can also be palced around the buildings to withdraw the water that is around it and also prevent the water from reaching the building anymore.
