Abstract:
[Solution] Time of flight type three-dimensional cameras (12a, 12b) are installed facing each other such that detection areas (24, 26) are provided in an opening (6) of platform doors. Detection units (18a, 18b) output person or object detection information upon determining that there is a person or an object on the basis of the outputs from the time of flight type three-dimensional cameras (12a, 12b). A determination unit (20) determines that there is a person or an object in the detection areas (24, 26) when the detection units (18a, 18b) output the detection information.
