Abstract:
A playback device according to one embodiment of this technology is provided with a playback unit, a detection unit, and a generation unit. The playback unit can play back content. The detection unit receives a beacon signal transmitted from another playback device that can play back the content, and detects one or more nearby playback devices that are located nearby. The generation unit generates an operation image including a first region in which the playback device is displayed, and a second region in which the one or more nearby playback devices that were detected are displayed in an order based on the received beacon signal.
