Abstract:
This pneumatic radial tire for a passenger car has a cross-sectional width SW of the tire and an outer diameter OD of the tire that satisfy a prescribed relationship, and has, on a tread surface of a tread, one or more circumferential-direction main grooves that extend in a tire circumferential direction, wherein the negative rate of one half of one side in the tread width direction, the boundary of which is the tire equatorial plane serving as the inside during vehicle installation, is greater than the negative rate of one half of the other side in the tread width direction, the boundary of which is the tire equatorial plane serving as the outer side during vehicle installation. The drop height (or ground length relationship or tread gauge relationship) satisfies a prescribed value.
