Abstract:
Pneumatic radial tire, particularly the structure of airplane radial tires, and production thereof. The present invention is intended to improve structural durability in high-speed running. The tire is characterized in that it has a belt layer (4) consisting of a center belt (BC) and two shoulder belts (BS), that cords (6) of the shoulder belt are substantially in parallel with a tire center circumferential line and the diameter (D3) of the shoulder belt on the center side is greater than the diameter (D2) on the shoulder side, and that the shoulder belt is shaped by use of a belt drum having a taper portion.
