Abstract:
The disclosed pneumatic tire improves steering stability without loss of durability. Said pneumatic tire comprises a tread section, a pair of sidewalls that extend radially inwards from the sides of the tread section, and bead sections that connect the radially-inside edges of the sidewalls. Said tread section, sidewalls, and bead sections are reinforced by a carcass comprising at least one carcass ply comprising a cellulose fiber cord covered by a rubber coating. Each cellulose fiber cord has a tensile elastic modulus of at least 40 cN/dtex at 180°C under 29.4 N of stress. All of the carcass cords are folded back from the inside of the tire to the outside around bead cores embedded in the pair of bead sections.
