Abstract:
This pneumatic tire 1 has a decorative portion 40 on a tire side portion 31 that is the outer surface of a sidewall portion 30. The decorative portion 40 is provided with a plurality of ridges 45 which extend along the tire side portion 31 and are aligned in the tire circumferential direction. Given that ridges 45 with the same pattern of intervals between adjacent ridges 45 and inclination angles, through which the ridges are inclined in the tire circumferential direction relative to the tire radial direction, constitute a single ridge group 50, there are provided no less than three of such ridge groups 50 such that the respective sets of ridges 45 of the different ridge groups 50 are arranged in mutually intersecting fashion, so that defects in external appearance of the sidewall portion 30 can be alleviated.
