Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a pneumatic tire that has achieved both high load capacity and space saving as well as excellent durability. In order to solve the problem, the present invention provides a pneumatic tire to be attached to a vehicle, and comprising a tread that contacts a road surface, and a belt layer provided on an inner side in the tire radial direction of the tread. The pneumatic tire is characterized in that the pneumatic tire has an external diameter of not less than 350 mm and not more than 600 mm, satisfies the relation 0.78 ≦ RW / SW ≦ 0.88, where RW is the rim width of a rim wheel to be attached to the pneumatic tire, and SW is the tire cross-section width of the pneumatic tire, and uses a rubber composition containing a rubber component containing 50% by mass or more of natural rubber and/or synthetic isoprene rubber, and syndiotactic-1,2-polybutadiene.
