Abstract:
In this pneumatic tire, a sound-dampening body is disposed on the inner surface of the tire, and the sound-dampening body is a sponge material. In a cross section along the tire width direction in a reference state, the sponge material is rectangular in shape, the ratio t/w of the thickness t of the sponge material to the width w of the sponge material in the tire width direction is 0.4-0.55, the thickness t of the sponge material is 30 mm or less, the volume ratio of the sponge material is 5-8%, the elongation at break of the sponge material is 200-250%, and the hardness of the sponge material is 80-140 N.
