Abstract:
Disclosed are a pod dropping device and method and a coffee pod brewing machine. The pod dropping device comprises a storage container internally provided with guide channels. The guide channels are provided with a pod inlet and a pod outlet, and the pod outlet is located below the pod inlet. A pod is adapted to move from the pod inlet to the pod outlet under the force of gravity. Each of the guide channels is correspondingly provided with a first blocking member and a second blocking member, and the first blocking member is located downstream from the second blocking member. Each of the first blocking member and the second blocking member is connected to an extension and retraction driving assembly. When both the first blocking member and the second blocking member extend into the guide channel, the space between the first blocking member and the second blocking member is adapted to accommodate at least one pod. The invention achieves automatic supply of a pod, highly automated processing, and easy operation. The invention also has a reasonable structural design and a simple overall structure, thereby effectively reducing production and maintenance costs.
