Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a point management system and method which make possible effective use of points, etc., which a customer has acquired, and which are capable of avoiding an occurrence of waste of the points, etc. The present invention allows conversion of acquired points, etc., with various types of points or digital tickets and allows conversion in foreign currency, wherein on a currency selection screen a number of points for which a transaction is desired is displayed for each currency, and rates are displayed which are guides to conversions per point for each of the currencies. For example, standard point numbers are displayed which are converted to USD1, EUR1, and RMB1, making comprehension of transaction conditions at current trade rates easy in the subsequent step. Also, for example, point conversion conditions are displayed as a list, making it possible to verify the conversion conditions and designate personal conversion conditions, and to convert points, etc., on the basis of the designation of agreed-upon conversion conditions.
