Abstract:
A polarizing film comprising a polarizer that is a cured product of a polymerizable liquid crystal composition containing: a polymerizable liquid crystal compound having at least one polymerizable group; and a dichroic dye, the polarizer being stacked on a surface of a base material, the surface having a pore size of 0.45-0.57 nm inclusive based on a conversion into diameter of a mean free volume radius calculated by a positron lifetime measurement method involving a measurement by irradiating the surface with positrons with an implantation energy of 3 kV.
