Abstract:
Provided is a polyether polyol having high degree of freedom in the design of a polyurethane foam, and having excellent storage stability of a polyol system liquid. The polyether polyol has a polyoxyalkylene chain consisting of oxyalkylene units, has a degree of unsaturation of 0.020 meq/g or less, has a hydroxyl value of 1-80 mgKOH/g, contains 0-50 mass% of an oxyethylene unit, and contains 1,000 mass ppm or less of an ultra-high molecular weight component having a molecular weight of 12-46 times the number average molecular weight. The number average molecular weight is a polystyrene equivalent molecular weight measured by a gel permeation chromatography (GPC) method, and the content of the ultra-high molecular weight component is a value measured by a high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) method using a charged aerosol detector (CAD).
