Abstract:
Provided is a polyglycerin fatty acid ester which makes it possible to obtain a cosmetic which has a superior feel when used in comparison to the prior art. A polyglycerin fatty acid ester, wherein the polyglycerin hydroxyl group value is 1,400 or less, the esterification is 30-70%, and a composition obtained by adding 5% thereof to liquid paraffin has a vibration strain of at least 1% and a stress of at least 5,000Pa at the maximum loss modulus.
