Abstract:
The present invention relates to a shear thickening fluid (STF) and a polymer composite comprising the same. The present invention provides an STF microcapsule in which a core is filled with an STF containing silica dispersed in polyethylene glycol; a capsule inner layer is formed of an emulsifier surrounding the STF; and a capsule outer layer is formed of a thermosetting resin surrounding the capsule inner layer.
