Abstract:
The present invention relates to a talent and career-based academic management system and method, the talent and career-based academic management system comprising: a reception unit for receiving a credit recognition request signal for talent data or career data of a student with respect to major courses of a major department; an assessment performing unit for performing an assessment of the talent data or the career data; a credit recording unit for recording completed credits with respect to the major department or the major courses according to the results from the performed assessment; a credit determination unit for determining whether the total number of completed credits of the student including the credits supplied through the talent data and the career data are greater than or equal to the credits required for graduation; and a degree recording unit for recording a degree of the major department for the student when the total number of completed credits are greater than or equal to the credits required for graduation.
