Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a polymer composition which has low Young's modulus, high tensile strength and excellent flexibility. The present invention is a polymer composition which contains a polylactic acid and a dilactide/ε-caprolactone copolymer, wherein 20-40% by mass of the polylactic acid is contained relative to a total of 100% by mass of the polylactic acid and the dilactide/ε-caprolactone copolymer; and the dilactide/ε-caprolactone copolymer satisfies the requirements (1) and (2) described below. (1) The R value represented by the formula below is from 0.45 to 0.99 (inclusive). R = (AB)/(2(A)(B)) × 100 In the formula, (A) is the molar fraction (%) of dilactide residues in the dilactide/ε-caprolactone copolymer; (B) is the molar fraction (%) of ε-caprolactone residues in the dilactide/ε-caprolactone copolymer; and (AB) is the molar fraction (%) of structures, in which a dilactide residue and an ε-caprolactone residue are adjacent to each other (A-B and B-A), in the dilactide/ε-caprolactone copolymer. (2) At least either of the dilactide residues or the ε-caprolactone residues have a degree of crystallization of less than 14%.
