Abstract:
A polymer electrolyte fuel cell system includes: a single cell (10), a layered body (100), temperature adjusting devices (160, 140, 40, 41); an anode gas supply device (110), a cathode gas supply device (120), and a control device (300). When lowering the generation output of the layered body (100), the control device (300) controls the anode gas supply device (110) and the cathode gas supply device (120) so as to reduce the supply flow rate of the anode gas and the cathode gas and controls at least one of the anode gas supply device (110), the cathode gas supply device (120), and the temperature adjusting device (140A), so that the dew-point temperature of the gas is relatively high as compared to the temperature of the layered body (100) and the gas supplied to a flow groove of the anode gas or a flow groove of the cathode gas contains water in the super saturation state.
