Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a resin composition which exhibits excellent tracking resistance and which can yield a rigid molded article. The present invention is a poly(phenylene ether) resin composition which contains: (a) a resin component; (b) titanium oxide; and (c) an inorganic filler. The inorganic filler (c) has a thermal conductivity of 2-12 [W/(m·K)]. The resin component (a) contains 50-90 parts by mass of (a1) a poly(phenylene ether) relative to 100 parts by mass of the resin component (a). The amount of titanium oxide (b) is 5-40 parts by mass relative to 100 parts by mass of the resin component (a). The amount of the inorganic filler (c) is 5-50 parts by mass relative to 100 parts by mass of the resin component (a). The mass ratio of titanium oxide (b) and the inorganic filler (c) ((b)/(c)) is 0.2-8.0.
