A porous film according to the present invention contains an olefin resin composition, an inorganic filler, a metal soap and a fatty acid. With respect to this porous film, 50 parts by mass to 400 parts by mass of the inorganic filler is contained relative to 100 parts by mass of the olefin resin composition; 0.5 part by mass to 15 parts by mass of the metal soap is contained relative to 100 parts by mass of the inorganic filler; and 0.5 part by mass to 5 parts by mass of the fatty acid is contained relative to 100 parts by mass of the inorganic filler. The olefin resin composition contains a low-melting-point olefin resin. The melting point of the metal soap is 200°C or less. The precipitation temperature of the metal soap is higher than the solidification temperature of the olefin resin composition.
