Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a porous film that has excellent moisture-transmission properties, piercing strength, and barrier properties, including blood barrier properties and viral barrier properties. The present invention also addresses the problem of providing a water-resistant and moisture-transmitting material that uses the porous film, that has excellent barrier properties, including blood barrier properties and viral barrier properties, and that reduces sensations of sweatiness and is highly comfortable as clothing when worn. The abovementioned problems are addressed by a porous film that has a moisture vapor transmission rate of 150 g/(m2∙h) or more, a piercing strength of 100 N/mm or more, and level 4 or higher blood barrier properties, or by a porous film that has a moisture vapor transmission rate of 150 g/(m2∙h) or more, a piercing strength of 100 N/mm or more, and level 3 or higher viral barrier properties, or by a porous film that has a moisture vapor transmission rate of 150 g/(m2∙h) or more, a piercing strength of 100 N/mm or more, level 4 or higher blood barrier properties, and level 3 or higher viral barrier properties.
