Abstract:
The present invention includes: a temperature and rotation-speed sensor 33 that is disposed near a coil of a motor 6 and that measures the temperature of the motor 6; a temperature sensor 35 that measures the ambient temperature of a portable air compressor 36; and a control group 30 that controls the operation of the motor 6 by using a corrected value obtained after correction of a measured value from the temperature sensor 35 when the value from the temperature and rotation-speed sensor 33 exceeds a first threshold and by using the measured value from the temperature sensor 35 when the value from the temperature and rotation-speed sensor 33 is equal to or less than the first threshold. This configuration provides: a portable air compressor capable of reducing the operating load in a high-temperature environment, compared with prior art, and capable of being stably used even in a high-temperature environment; and a portable-air-compressor control method.
