Abstract:
Disclosed is a portable phased array ultrasonic rail inspection device comprising: a device body including a driving wheel installed therein to be movable along a rail to be inspected; an ultrasonic sensor unit disposed at a lower portion of the device body, applying ultrasonic waves to the inside of the rail, and detecting ultrasonic waves reflected from a defect existing inside the rail; a sensor elevating unit installed in the device body to move the sensor unit toward or away from the rail; a control unit for receiving a signal detected by the sensor unit to determine the defect of the rail and then output determination information; a power supply unit installed in the device body to supply power to the sensor unit and the control unit; and a guide unit installed in the device body to guide the driving wheel to move along the rail.
