Abstract:
A bus adapter according to the present invention comprises: an interface unit connected, via a first signal line and a second signal line, to a communication module configured to transmit or receive data on the basis of a specific first communication scheme, such as a CAN; a first buffer for storing data received from the communication module through the first signal line; a link control unit configured to be connected to a data bus of a second communication scheme so as to transmit data stored in the first buffer through the bus and detect data from a signal carried on the bus; and a second buffer for storing data detected by the link control unit. Further, the interface unit transmits data stored in the second buffer to the communication module through the second signal line in a format determined by the first communication scheme, and when a bit string is received through the first signal line, operates the second signal line to allow the bit string to also appear in the second signal line.
