Abstract:
A portable receiver which has a strap antenna. The portable receiver having the strap antenna (106) is provided with a housing (100), which in turn is provided at a side thereof with at least one through hole permitting the strap antenna (106) to extend therethrough along an outer peripheral configuration thereof. Further, the strap antenna (106) has a portion which passes through the through hole to be exposed in a loop outside the housing (100), and comprises a received signal processing means for signal processing of received signals from the strap antenna (106), and a connection means (105) connecting the strap antenna (106) to the received signal processing means. Further, there is provided a strap antenna length adjusting means (109) for adjusting a length of the exposed portion of the strap antenna (106). Accordingly, it is possible to adjust a loop length of the strap antenna (106) with a simple construction and manipulation.
