Abstract:
A position search system (201) comprises: a tag (210); a plurality of communication terminals (20) that receive a signal from the tag (210); and a server (30) that collects information from the communication terminals (20). The tag (210) transmits, as a signal to be transmitted from the tag (210), a first signal when presence of a communication terminal (20A) paired with the tag (210) is sensed or when presence of a communication terminal (20B) communicable with the tag (10) is sensed after paring with the communication terminal (20A) has been cancelled or after the presence of the communication terminal (20A) has no longer been sensed, and transmits a second signal having a greater transmission output and/or a greater transmission frequency as compared to that of the first signal, when the presence of a communication terminal (20) communicable with the tag (210) is not sensed after the paring with the communication terminal (20A) has been cancelled or after the presence of the communication terminal (20A) has no longer been sensed.
