Abstract:
A position search system (1) comprises: a tag (10); a plurality of communication terminals (20) that receive a signal from the tag (10); and a server (30) that collects information from the communication terminals (20). The tag (10) comprises: a determination unit that determines whether or not the tag (10) is moving; and a setting unit that transmits, as a signal to be transmitted by the tag (10), a first signal when the presence of the communication terminal (20A) which has been paired with the tag (10) is sensed, after the pair with the communication terminal (20A) has been cancelled, or after the presence of the communication terminal (20A) is no longer sensed, and that sets a second signal with at least one of transmission output and transmission frequency being increased as compared to the first signal, when the movement of the tag (10) has been determined in a state in which the pair with the communication terminal (20A) is cancelled or in a state in which the presence of the communication terminal (20A) is not sensed.
