Abstract:
This position sensor is provided with: a support substrate (10) which has a front surface (11) and a back surface (12); a magnetic flux generation unit (20) which generates magnetic flux in a direction perpendicular to the front surface of the support substrate and which is fixed to the front surface of the support substrate; magnetic elements (31-35) which are provided in a flux transmission area on the back surface of the support substrate and which output a detection signal corresponding to the strength of the magnetic flux; and correction units (40, 50) which input the detection signal and correct the detection signal on the basis of change in the sensitivity of the magnetic elements. A detection target (100) is configured from a magnetic body and is positioned spaced away from the back surface of the support substrate, and the detection target has a tip portion (110) in the planar direction of the back surface of the support substrate, and said tip portion moves through the space (200) corresponding to the transmission area in the said planar direction away from the reference position. The strength of the magnetic flux changes in accordance with the amount of movement of the tip portion from the reference position.
