Abstract:
A positioning device, comprising a laser projector (1) and a servo system (2) configured to drive the laser projector (1) and acquire coordinate data. Also provided are a positioning method and color filter coater. The color filter coater comprises a chamber (7), a marble platform (8) provided within the chamber (7), and the positioning device. The laser projector (1) is provided on an inner side at the top of the chamber (7). The laser projector (7) has a projection direction toward a surface of the marble platform (8). By providing the laser projector (7) and the servo system (2) connected thereto, and acquiring a current position of the laser projector (1) to output corresponding coordinates, the present invention enables quickly locating a corresponding target foreign object on the marble platform (8) according to the coordinates and immediate removal thereof, thus saving inspection time, and accordingly improving the product yield rate.
