Abstract:
A positioning method and apparatus, wherein same are used for solving the existing problems of low positioning accuracy and large power consumption of a terminal device when the terminal device is positioned. The positioning method provided in the embodiments of the present application comprises: a fixed terminal device monitoring a target signal sent by a positioned terminal device; based on the monitored target signal, determining positioning information for positioning the positioned terminal device; and sending the determined positioning information to a network side device.
