Abstract:
Disclosed are a positioning method and device. The method comprises: determining a user target position, and predicting the time when a user arrives at the target position; and before the predicted time, pushing positioning basis information within a range of the target position to a user client for storage, so as to instruct the client to perform positioning according to the positioning basis information. In the technical solution provided in the embodiments of the present invention, a client can achieve positioning without a network and improve the successful rate of offline positioning of a user near a non-resident position.
