Abstract:
A flying object (500) flies in outer space from the earth towards the moon or a planet, or flies in the vicinity of the moon or planet. The flying object (500) is equipped with a positioning signal reception device. Ground stations (100) are equipped with a positioning signal transmission device having an orientation direction control function, and the position coordinates in an earth-fixed coordinate system are known. The flying object (500) receives, simultaneously from four of the ground stations (100), positioning signals (21) transmitted from the ground stations (100), and measures the position coordinates in the earth-fixed coordinate system.
