Title:
POSITIVE ELECTRODE ACTIVE MATERIAL FOR NON-AQUEOUS SECONDARY CELL, POSITIVE ELECTRODE FOR NON-AQUEOUS SECONDARY CELL USING SAME, NON-AQUEOUS SECONDARY CELL, AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SAME
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2014/181455
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
This positive electrode active material for a non-aqueous secondary cell is characterized in that the positive electrode active material is represented by a composition formula: xLi2MnMcO3 - (1 - x)LiNiaMnbMcO2 (in the formula, letters x, a, b, c have the following relations: 0.2 < x < 0.8, 0.5 < a < 1, 0 < b < 0.5, c ≤ 0.02, a + b + c = 1, and Mc represents a metallic element), and a ratio (IN/I(104)) of diffraction peak intensity (I(104)) on a (104) surface as in an X-ray diffraction measurement to a maximum intensity (IN) within a range of an angle 0.3-2o lower than a diffraction angle of the diffraction peak to which the (104) surface belongs is 0.080 or less. As a result, it is possible to provide a positive electrode active material for a non-aqueous secondary battery which is a layered solid solution and has low resistance.
