In order to provide a rotating electrical machine system or a wind power generation system wherein a rotating electrical machine for generating power to be supplied to an AC power source in a power system and so forth is miniaturized, the rotating electrical machine system distributes an active power command or a mechanical torque command, and a reactive power command, which are outputted from first and second rotating electrical machines for generating power to be supplied to the AC power source in the power system and so forth to the AC power source to a first power convertor connected to a first rotor winding for switching between an AC current and a DC current and a second power convertor connected to a second rotor winding while being connected to the DC side of the first power convertor for switching between a DC current and an AC current.
