Abstract:

A positive electrode active material for a novel secondary battery is provided. The positive electrode active material for the secondary battery of the present embodiment is represented by formula (I). Lia (NixCryMn2-x-y-zM1Z)O4 (I) (In formula (I), 0 < x, 0 < y, 0 < z, x + y + z < 2, and 0 ≤ a ≤ 2. M1 includes at least one type of element selected from a group comprising Na and Mg.) The secondary battery positive electrode of the present embodiment is provided with the positive electrode active material for the secondary battery of the present embodiment. A method for producing the secondary battery of the present embodiment includes: a step manufacturing a secondary battery positive electrode by applying the positive electrode active material for the secondary battery of the present embodiment on a positive electrode current collector; and a step for assembling the secondary battery by using the secondary battery positive electrode.
