Title:
POWDER REMOVING DEVICE FOR TABLET FEEDER
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2010/101098
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Cut powder (b) adhering to tablets (T1, T2) is smoothly removed. A tablet splitting feeder (A1) is configured to split, by means of a fixed blade, a tablet (T) within a containing pocket of a rotor into two as the rotor rotates. Powder removing plates (64a, 64b, 66) are provided to a tablet dispensing path (14) of the feeder. The powder removing plate (64b) is vibrated by a vibration motor (71) to remove powder (b) adhering to a tablet on the powder removing plate (64b) and cause the powder (b) to drop from a slit (a). The removing operation is performed by temporarily retaining the tablets (T1, T2) between a pair of the powder removing plates (64a, 64b). The powder removing plate (64b) is rocked by a plunger, and the tablets are retained and dropped by the rocking. The dropped tablets further drop along the power removing plate (66) to allow the powder adhering to the tablets to be removed, and the tablets are guided from a dispensing opening (90) to a packaging process, etc.
