This powder supply device comprises: a hopper that accommodates a powder; a cylindrical roller provided below the hopper, the roller being capable of rotating about a rotational axis; and a wall surface that retains the powder in a space formed together with the roller. The roller of the powder supply device rotates, whereby the powder retained between the roller and the wall surface is moved in the rotation direction of the roller and is allowed to drop. A plurality of groove parts that extend in the axial direction is formed in the peripheral surface of the roller. At least one of the groove parts is formed such that the amount of powder that can be accommodated varies along the axial direction.
