Abstract:
The present invention relates to a power control device for a construction machine and, more specifically, to a power control device for a construction machine which can completely stop activation of the construction machine by simultaneously shutting off not only the power of an engine thereof but also a battery thereof when the activation of the construction machine is not turned off or the construction machine is in a dangerous situation due to fire, etc. To this end, the present invention provides a power control device for a construction machine, the device comprising: a first electronic control unit for controlling drive of an engine; a first switch, electrically connected to the first electronic control unit, for shutting off power applied to the first electronic control unit; and a second switch, electrically connected between the first electronic control unit and a battery and installed on a line connecting the first electronic control unit and the first switch, for turning on/off the battery, wherein the second switch is interlocked with the operation of the first switch, thereby cutting off the battery.
