Abstract:
A power conversion device (3) converts power from a power supply (1) and supplies the converted power to a load (5). The power conversion device (3) comprises: a first inverter (30) having first capacitors (31, 32) and a plurality of switching elements (Q1 to Q12); a second inverter (40) having a second capacitor (41) to which a voltage smaller than the voltages of the first capacitors (31, 32) is applied and a plurality of switching elements (Q13 to Q24); and a control device (20). The control device (20) controls the plurality of switching elements (Q1 to Q24) by applying dead times thereto and performs control so as to suppress the voltage variation width of a composite voltage obtained by combining the output voltage of the first inverter (30) and the output voltage of the second inverter (40) during a dead time period.
