Title:
POWER CONVERSION DEVICE, CAPACITOR DEVICE, CONTROL METHOD, AND COMPUTER PROGRAM
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2023/136181
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
A power conversion device (1) includes: a conversion circuit (40) that includes a plurality of switching elements (42, 43) connected to a direct current power supply (10), that converts supplied direct current voltage to a predetermined voltage by executing switching processing, and that outputs the predetermined voltage to a load; a smoothing circuit (20) that includes a plurality of capacitor elements (21a, 21b, 21c, 21d) connected in parallel to the direct current power supply, and that smooths pulsation generated due to the converting by the conversion circuit (40); a voltage measuring device (30) that measures the voltage across each of the plurality of capacitor elements (21a, 21b, 21c, 21d); and a calculation circuit (61) that executes determination processing for determining if an imbalance in the current flowing to the plurality of capacitor elements (21a, 21b, 21c, 21d) has occurred. The determination processing includes: acquiring an effective value of an alternating current component of the voltage across each of the plurality of capacitor elements (21a, 21b, 12c, 21d) on the basis of the measured voltage across each of the plurality of capacitor elements (21a, 21b, 12c, 21d); and determining that an imbalance in the current flowing to the plurality of capacitor elements (21a, 21b, 12c, 21d) has occurred when an evaluation value based on a maximum value of the effective values exceeds a predetermined threshold.
