A power conversion device (1) comprises: a converter (150) that rectifies a first AC power supplied from an AC power source (110); a smoothing unit (200) that is connected to the output end of the converter; an inverter (310) that is connected to both ends of the smoothing unit and that generates a second AC power which is a 3-phase AC power; and a control unit (400) that executes two or more controls among a converter electric-potential fixing control for stopping switching of a first switching element included in the converter for a certain period, an inverter electric-potential fixing control for stopping switching of a second switching element included in the inverter for a certain period, and an inverter current pulsation control for executing control so as to pulsate an input current to the inverter at a frequency in accordance with the frequency of the first AC power.
